Sometimes serendipity works in strange ways. "Tobohobu" popped up in a Word for the Day email as I was working on this piece. Genesis 1:2 uses the word which translates from Hebrew as 'without form, or 'void,' or colloquially 'chaos.' Seems about right!

The "Impressions" series has explored mark making and stamping/printmaking techniques. Media include acrylic inks, watercolors, pearlescent inks, and markers. Surfaces have included traditional watercolor paper and Yupo synthetic paper.
