Information
Stretching the boundaries of Black masculinity, I took a universal hairstyle, braids, in the Black community, and placed it in an unlikely place. Often, male pubic hair is either neatly manicured or wildly untamed. I had a surreal idea of braided pubic hair, and to razzle-dazzle it, the addition of the beads softens the loud masculine energy. The colors of the beads represent the Pan-African colors, and I wanted to pay homage to my culture.
