CALL FOR ART: BLOOM
Calling all Tampa Bay area artists: submit your artwork for a fantastical, Springtime art show depicting new beginnings! Our local art culture is in full blossom and we want to display our artists to the community in the prime Downtown Arts District at St. Pete Art Walk in April!
We are open to artist's interpretation, within the theme discussed in the following... The art community, namely it's artists, are vital to the local bay area cities, and especially St. Pete. We are back open in full swing and want to give a place to show your talent in the Downtown Arts District of St. Pete, at the second Saturday Artwalk in April. The streets downtown are once again filled with art lovers and show-goers who want to engage with the artists and their art.ONLINE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: APRIL 2nd at 11:00 PM
We are using CloudFolios to assist in curating the show. If you don't already have an account, you can set one up (free) during the submit process.
CALL TYPE: Opening reception will be in coordination with Art Walk on April 9th, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in our downtown gallery, and then artwork will be available for viewing and purchase throughout the remainder of April.
Gallery will be open from 11:00 to 3:00 on Mondays, 10:00 to 6:00 Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and by appointment during the week.
ART DROPOFF DATE: SATURDAY, MARCH 26th, from 10:00 to 3:00 and April 3rd, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

LOCATION: The Artlofts Studios and Gallery above the Florida Craft Art Gallery corner of 5th St. And Central Ave. - 10 5th St. No. St. Pete, Fl 33701
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 per entry for a maximum of 3 entries per artist. Entries will be curated by the Artlofts Studios. Entry fees cover the cost of show promotion, title cards, and related material.
UNSOLD ARTWORK PICK UP DATE: SUNDAY, APRIL 30th, 2022 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM

- Unsold Work pick-up: SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 2022 10:00 - 3:00pm
COMMISSIONS & SALES
A 20% commission on any sold work while on show display. All sales will be processed by show curators and distributed to individual artists. Payment processing fees will be deducted from artist payout, when applicable.
Artwork that is sold during the show may be taken upon purchase and replaced with another similar artwork by same artist.
LIABILITY
The gallery personnel will do all that it can do to protect your artwork while it's being shown but cannot assume liability for the chance occurrence of fire, theft or any other damage. The door is locked during the day and night. The artwork can only be viewed during an open event or by appointment. By submitting your art to this exhibit, you imply agreement with these terms.

Special Instructions
THEME & INSTRUCTIONS:
Subject matter surrounding a positive, artful cultural theme is acceptable. Anything from the Florida wildlife realm, local landscapes, people, places, abstracts, still life, Tampa Bay life, whatever you do best, will be considered.
Very large pieces will be taken into consideration of available space
We are accepting paintings on gallery-wrapped canvas, framed works on paper, framed photography and limited sculpture pieces by approval. ALL artwork and photography are to be original work only. Keep in mind we are a Studio and Gallery largely geared toward accommodating hanging art. We ask that all art hanging submissions be wired, and ready to hang, and in show condition, free of blemishes, or stains.
Tasteful, artistic nudes are acceptable, but please, no explicit sexual nudity as this is a family show.
