Information

The Rokurokubi is a frightening but fascinating Yokai monster featured in ancient Japanese folklore. She often appears as a beautiful woman with an abnormally long serpentine neck and feeds on men's' sleeping bodies. This was the first time I attempted to draw and color something on smooth surfaced poster board. In addition, I tried to make the Yokai more frightening with slick, greasy black hair and a lamprey mouth.
