Information

The Blue Lady is a blue rendition of the female form as part of a series of paintings using a limited color palette and predominantly featuring the female torso. I found that using a color such as blue leaves the ethnicity of the subject ambiguous. I wanted the brush strokes to be quick but intentional to create depth within the painting.
