Information

This new painting, "BestFins Happy Hour at the Beach House", is from my series, "Don't Drink Like a Fish™", with almost 400 paintings so far. The originals range in size from 4" x 4", to 48" x 72". I have been creating this art since 2003, and living in Florida, I find inspiration from the beach, coral reefs and many tropical drinks and fabrics. The fabric in this painting was inspired by a few antique Hawaiian bark cloth patterns. I designed a stencil to create a repeat pattern of the wallpaper on one of the layers. This painting, is whimsical and painted in many layers. Dolphins play in the background on the ocean, while a few funky fish in beverages are waiting for the afternoon toast. It is 16" x 40", museum wrapped with 1.5" sides. The design continues around the sides. I exclusively use GOLDEN brand fluid acrylics, and have added a coat of glossy UV varnish to protect the painting. It will be presented with a Certificate of Authenticity.
