Information

"Pigcasso" is created on a vintage metal pig from Smith and Hawken. It is a real conversation piece, and features 12 well known paintings and some additional patterns of Pablo Picasso. This is #14 of different Pigcassos I have created over the years. I used my favorite paints, Golden fluid acrylics, just like on my paintings. It is finished with several coats of acrylic UV gloss varnish. I painted the eyes, both on one side of the face as in many of Picasso's cubist and surrealistic works. On the bottom is a favorite Picasso quote, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." Among the12 works are "Woman with Book," "Nude and Still Life," "Girl Before a Mirror," Les Pigeons, Cannes," "Portrait of Dora Maar," "Girl With a Boat," "Fillette Couronnee au Bateau," "Bouquet of Peace," "Peace Dove with Flowers," all done with my fine detail paintbrush!
