Information

Seaside Cocktails is from my "Don't Drink Like a Fish" series, with over 400 paintings to date. They all feature sea life in cocktails and other beverages enjoying the moment. This painting includes white pelicans, dolphins, sandpipers and a ghost crab. Some of the fish are based on actual fish, and others are whimsical creations. The under layer of this mixed media work is Caran D'Ache, made in Switzerland. They are watersoluble crayons. The details are in acrylic, and I prefer Golden Fluid Acrylics. A UV gloss varnish is the finishing touch. The designer wood frame is perfect for the color palette!
