Information

Human slavery is as old as recorded history, and unfortunately it still takes place today.

To address this, I've drawn a dancer portraying a freed slave. There's something so beautiful and poetic his pose ... the position of his feet, the tension in his arms.

I added shackles and (broken) chain links to symbolize this one man's break from slavery. But it could also represent the emancipation of any race, gender, creed or people enslaved by another group.
