This image of recording artist Willow Smith was one I've been wanting to draw for a while now, especially after hearing her quirky pop hit "Meet Me at Our Spot" last year. She's a talented and attractive young woman with a unique voice. But of course it was her hair that captured me. I find it so interesting visually, with all its unexpected twists and turns. There's nothing ordinary or bland about it ... it literally draws you in and commands your attention.
